Orthopedic surgery sucks it is traumatic. The brain knows how to deal with trauma. Simple survival mechanism It deliberately forgets how bad it is otherwise you wouldn't be willing to put yourself through trauma again and again. We see woman willing to have children again and again. I have had 8 orthopedic surgeries. I am sure everyone sucked. This one is still fresh in my memory and I still need another. I am willing to put myself through trauma again. Not everyone has this survival mechanism some can not deal with PTSD some are not willing to go through trauma again and again.

Years ago I had a distal clavicle excision and a subacromial decompression done on my left shoulder. It worked so well couldn't wait to get it done on the right side (did one year later).No idea where this PTSD shit is coming from.
2017 - rotator repair2022 - pkr....no where close to the pain of rotatorjust had repair of partial rupture of proximal tendon of long head of bicep and labrum repair. even worse than rotator. I knew the pain was coming. no way would i classify it as ptsd.
