when i did rps meets they used a mastodon bar i think, which is 60? and uspa used the texas bar which i wanna say was 55lbs

I've used a Texas bar I was unaware of the weight difference. I hated how aggressive the knurling was.

I know im wrong and that there are 55 and 60 pound bars, I found a York 55 pounder. Im just curious what this gym in kitty hawk is Bhank joined that has so many specialty bars

Great point, Bhank strolled in and said im not paying for a membership, I'm paying for upgrades. I can see him pointing people out and asking what do you want to see in here? Bhanks probably had some lackey taking notes and calling in orders for him.

Well I can’t speak for you guys but when I get bigger I get stronger. It really is that simple again shocking everyone wants to argue with this basic simple obvious concept. Every video I watch if anyone squatting they are wearing sleeves yet for some reason it’s not allowed for me the guy with knee instability. Everyone says I can’t then when I do they say don’t it’s too dangerous you are too weak. I can and I will I am strong. Maybe you should all spend more time lifting and less worried about what I lift

The bar has full Knurling and is a thicker bar that makes it a squat bar. I will take a pic and determine what bar it is next time it may be a 55 but it is not a 45. I saw a video where a squat bar was 65 but yes when I google most are 55

Squatting is also not just about legs I am taking a break from back and biceps as tendons are trashed I am hoping the anabolic response from squatting will prevent me from losing to much elsewhere. My appetite is definitely up after squats

Thanks for the refresher course Ive known since I was a kid..............squats can make your whole body grow to a small degree stimulating ones meabololism.
