Currently I am coughing and hacking up the remnants of Covid so no flex today but at 225lbs I am hardly skinny nor am I bloated nor am I eating 8k calories a day you guys can hate all you want but I am in shape. I would have done just fine at Nationals as a Heavy.
How long will you let that cough continue before you decide it is wise to see a doctor for it? You probably should not let it go much passed 2 weeks. Some say ten days. Do you still have phlegm? If so, what color is it. If it has a yellow or worse has greenish tinge, you have a bacterial infection in your bronchi or possibly your lungs.
From what I am learning about COVID, little by little, is that it can infect more areas then normally happens with the common cold. In my case, it went into my inner ear via my sinuses. I assume you don’t have a fever, although you said you did at first.
When I had COVID, there was no fever, nausea, or headache. Like you, I felt tired and slept more than usual. But then, I wasn’t lifting weights or doing any strenuous exercises like nothing was wrong, as you seem to be doing. If you tax your system in other ways such as exercise, may I suggest that it hinders shaking this thing off. The sooner you get well, the sooner you can resume your normal training routine, and life.
Despite what you want to believe, you are not invincible. Nobody is.
A primary care physician is essential for someone your age and with your health history. You don’t need to agree or do everything your doctor thinks you should, like not using AAS, which they probably won’t prescribe anyway, so you’ll still need to jump through the hoops if you want to stay on the juice. If you build a rapport with a primary care physician you trust, you’ll be surprised at how honest you can be with them and how they will respond to this in a positive way.
I apologize if it feels like I am lecturing you, but I do have just a couple more years of life experience than you do. Perhaps I have learned a tiny bit from my mistakes or as I prefer to think of them, my miscalculations. Just know that my advice is well intended. Clearly, I am not trying to compete with you in anyway. You don’t need to pound your chest, like an ape to prove you are better, bigger, richer, or smarter than me because none of that impresses me.
