Believe it or not (but almost any dermatologist will tell you) there are possible ramifications to the immune system from showering too often.

Bhanky can you advice if pre showering before hitting the mats hurts your chances.

Does being stanky give you an edge on the mats?

Also did your gal or maid assist you with showering whilst you were out injured?

I'm 47 and done track n field, BB, endurance events for years, other martial arts, etc - I just show up to the gym earlier to do my thing, and then go to BJJ. 

The guys there are chill, nohomo.  I did it for a little while years ago and stopped and regretted it.   So now it is just a challenge to get to Blue Belt as a bucket list type of item.

He's pretty much maxed his natural genetic size potential, so he's not really giving up anything.
