So at your current 180lbs you could easily do 20 now and shame Hanky in a video?
I no longer do squats,I do front squats and goblet squats at home....if I`m in a gym my main exercise is leg press.....I`m 67 years old and don`t feel the need to do them anymore as my goals are very different these days.
BUT.....here`s some of the best that I`ve done:
At around 125-130 pounds (I competed in powerlifting at 132 pounds in the early 1970`s)....I did 225 for 20 followed by the aforementioned single with 315......both on the same day in the same workout.
Have done 20 reps with 250 pounds.
405 for a one rep max single
315 for 3 sets of 10,followed by two sets of 8 and a set of 5 reps.....same workout
370 for a triple
All of the above were done below paralell at between 160 -165 pounds.......belt,chalk,knee wraps only!!
I could do that curl rack thingy for 8`s in a month of training no sweat.
My legs sucked by I was a decent squatter,and I always had the highest bench press in my class.
