That’s how you train strict curls about 12 weeks out you go twice a week lowering the reps each week until showtime then you deload and bring the reps back up and work other ancillary muscle groups before going back into a 12 week prep. Honestly it is how I train everything you hit one muscle group hard while taking it easy elsewhere for a few weeks then rotate.
