I remember something like the vaxed were 8x less likely to end uo in hospital but, of all those in the hospital, the vaxed were 6x more likely to die. You and Straw are both correct.
I don't see anything sinister in that. The hospitalized vaxed are probably just really near death from other things so it's more probable they'll die. I don't see the vax as a causal factor in their deaths.
But effectiveness is certainly waning and I think the trend will continue unless they retarget for variant S2 spike.
Even without reduced effectiveness, I wouldn't choose to take it based on my own little data pool of adverse reactions. Other people, who don't have the stories I have, are unsurprisingly going to draw a different conclusion and there's no reason for them to believe me when I'm just some guy on the internet.
