Samir was incredible,nobody could touch him..........fucking X-Mas tree lower back was freaky.

My buddy Jeff King had some gyno going on and looked a bit smooth for him though it could have been the lighting cuz they never got a close up shot of him.

Pastel........fucking abs and arms just incredible.

Dreher looked good but not good enough and Mike  Sable was fortunate  to place.

Kawak looked great but was a tad smooth.................. ............holding a film of water.

Great contest they all look far better than todays big gutted bloated idiots......the crowd reaction was great... nowadays people are falling asleep in their seats cuz everyone look about the same as everyone else.

If you call 5 sets of pulldowns training with him yes. 

No I jumped in on the pulldowns with him and we pushed each other hard.

Guy trained hard,very serious and one of the nicest guy you could ever meet.....would help anyone out but not when he was training.

He trained wifh different guys at different times.....RichRoy,Joe Gomes,Matt Dufresne,Larry Tyler,Chris Aceto,Rick Sampson and Artie Prince.....all great bodybuilders in their own right.

Check out their records on musclememory.com they all did damage in contests back then.

The story I was told was that in order for Jeff to be admitted into the IFBB,he would have had to compete in their Mr. America and Mr. Universe contests and he had won these both Mr. A in the AAU and the NABBA Universe in Britian both very prestigous contests back then,and he refused to go backwards just to appease Weider.

I cant recall who told me that .....it may not be correct so dont quote me......just second hand information .

You`re right though he was smart to get out,he has a great career,great family,loves to hunt and fish, and his main hobby is taxidermy believe it or not.

Most importantly he has his health,and still looks in shape,not huge but in condition.

No. Yates onwards took it too far. Pre slin and hgh abuse era was the best. Most of the 80s guys are still around whereas the 90s era guys are dropping like flies and getting legs amputated etc.

Yeah,I saw him once at 305 pounds.....he honestly carried it well.

When I saw Boyer Coe back in the day he looked tiny in his track suit......toook it off and looked insanely perfect......blew my mind......looked like living sculpture.
