I didn't watch the video but is the idea that good legs require superhuman effort?
Legs are like any other muscle group, mostly genetics. Most of the people with great legs I know didn't do anything special for their legs or trained particularly hard. I sometimes see women with outstanding leg development and then see them just going through the motions in their workouts. The guy I knew with the best legs never trained legs. Always talked about the importance of squatting but never squatted himself.
That is not to say harder training isn't better, just that genes dictate the most. I read somewhere that if you worked up to 4 plates for 20 reps in the squat over time you'd automatically have big legs. Didn't work for me.
