pro shows especially the Olympia are always predictable.
The judges place people on where the vast majority expect them to place, they never think for themselves, they follow the hype leading up to the show.

they never really judge the physiques on the day that much, they have a placing in their head before the people are onstage

At the same time, the first 60 seconds of a show is the most important, even before they hit any shots. And first callout, it's 95% decided right there. Within minutes they decided Ramy and Brandon were 1 and 2 while thinking Hadi was probably the next placer, and that's what happened.

BTW, I read that Hadi had threatened Aceto with a lawsuit because he talked about his pointy shoulders, a month or so ago. Now everyone could really see it. Except the Iranian fans, completely in denial. Funny reading their comments on IG.

Yeah but no matter what the judges do any decision will be blamed on politics. And how would you prove it's not politics, you can't, it's a subjective beauty pageant. I saw many cries about politics wrt this years Olympia results. Just like every year.

But at the same time, judging is still very impressive in that the results are largely what the fans also see, considering the subjective nature. A few bad calls but how could there not be? Lots of people think Walker is horrible but at the same time concede he did belong at the top somewhere anyway. Ramy is ugly, but yeah, hard to deny anyway. Hadi should maybe have moved up but he should also be penalized for the site injections, so yeah, maybe he got what he deserved.

I agree,but IMO,he looks far better than the Olympia lineup.

No bloat or bloofiness and can pose.
