I'm sure you've heard this line before, said after a bodybuilder dies. The notion is that the judges should lower their standards for freakishness in leanness and size, so that stupid bodybuilders do not take so much drugs that eventually kill them, either by slow death with huge doses of steroids for decades or diuretics before a show.
So they want to make it out like all these dudes are innocent pawns in an oppressive system, when at the end of the day, the deceased are responsible for their own deaths.
The same premise applies to the doctor-of-death gurus. Reasonably speaking the gurus are to blame to an extent because fools put trust in and look up to them, and thereby they use this position to recommend utterly stupid and deadly practices. But, in the end, it was grown adults who chose to throw caution to the wind and ignore signs that they were headed to death.
Granted normal people don't want to see people who they admire, relatives, and friends die, but the notion that "things should change" never falls on the people who made their own decisions.
They easily could have avoided death and health problems had they simply not taken PED's at all.
What is your take?
