My friend this is already happening in a way (at least in the UK)

Over the last few years of this nonsense, a number of sex offenders - when arrested of course - immediately self-identify as women, and so are placed into women's jails to get an easier time of things.  Worse still, several have gone on to molest fellow prisoners!!
