Thanks for the advice Matt. I am retired, all I do is rest. LOL. Truthfully, I have been sleeping at least 10 hours out of every 24 since getting COVID. Before getting COVID, I had a pretty decent workout routine that I was doing at home. I have temporarily put it on hold. Coughing all the time is exhausting.
I hope that's true, but somehow I doubt it. LOL!
Honestly, a lot of retired people still exhaust themselves doing other things.
I'd recommend no getting off the couch, unless it's to stretch. Lots of electrolytes [Gatorade is a good one], and Vitamin D - I'd suggest 3,000 to 5,000 IU's of Vitamin D at a MINIMUM.
I think you can safely go over that, but I don't want to recommend to you anything that a doctor wouldn't.
Just rest, I would say. It's not pleasant to have the symptoms you described linger on and on.
