Good question.

I hate to say it, but what very few experiences I have had with the Canadian healthcare system have been mostly negative.

For example, the 5th and final time [hopefully ever] that I set foot in a Canadian hospital was Saturday, July 2nd, 2018.

My foot had swollen up to the size of my shoe. I don't know why.

After waiting 24 hours, I went to the ER to see if i was I kidney failure or something else - as water tends to travel down when kidneys fail, due to gravity...and people get swollen feet and ankles, and things like that.

When I got to a tech who was scanning my foot, she scolded me for showing up at all, saying it was only caused by dehydration, and that she had "seen 100 feet today" [or 100 people for feet, I can't recall which].

Like, HOW THE FUCK WAS I SUPPOSED TO KNOW??? I was 36, and my foot had swollen to the size of my shoe, which had NEVER HAPPENED BEFORE. I waited 24 hours, it didn't subside, and so how the fuck was I supposed to know what was wrong?

Maybe fat, cheeseburger eating pieces of shit get swollen feet all the time, but that was the first time it had ever happened to me.

I went home, and my foot was fine the next day.

Frankly, I hope I NEVER use Canadian healthcare ever again. I can't even imagine using it after my experiences. I have been to the hospital FIVE TIMES IN MY LIFE, and three of the experiences were like the one described above.

If I get cancer, I'll take whatever prescription they give me, but I don't think I would come in for radiation or anything.

So to reply to your post, I would like to see the Canadian healthcare system dismantled, actually.

That might explain why the "private business" ChOAK runs is ao successful.  ;D Perhaps he helps men rub one out for $35 for 15-minute sessions?
