I know they didn't care for each other. Zane said of Franco "he won the Olymia (81) with one leg and a bitch tit" he was also disgusted that Franco often posed at the feet of Arnold. Frank said he would never pose at the feet of another man. Thats respectable but don't the photographers pretty much determine the posing for the shots?
Frank looked great in 78 and 79. Not enough pics of 77 or 76. LLS in 75 and 74. Looked decent in 82 and 83. Overall had a fairly odd build. Weird looking abs. Back was so so. Arms and legs so so. He just really knew how to present himself. Plus he was a hippy. Draft dodger and smug.
Franco's build was also flawed but less so than Zane's. Franco doesn't get a lot of love on here but he was pretty bad ass. Accomplished boxer, power lifter, bodybuilder. He actually looked pretty damn good in pumping iron in side by side comparison to Arnold. In the final posedown , body part for body part, you could argue that Franco could've won.
In my book Franco wins. He gets shit on for being Arnolds bitch and he comes across as a simpleton- a cheap imitation of Arnold. His attempts at psychological warfare were juvenile, his acting career was a bad joke but he's actually a lot better, more accomplished than he gets credit for.
