Additionally, the film Pumping Iron needed the faux conflict between Waller and Katz and each country was allowed three contestants, one from each height class. Waller and Katz were both tall men and so they removed Padilla from the short class entries to allow this to happen.

Padilla was robbed for the first time. It would happen a couple more times at the Olympia. The Weiders were schmoes of the first order.

Papa Ben was not only an art lover but a big time art philanthropist. There is a whole Ben and Huguette Weider wing of the Montreal Fine Arts Museum dedicated to Napoleon and Napoleonic art. Ben has also been honored in France for his contributions to Napoleon studies. The Weider empire obviously generated BIG BUCKS to allow for this level of collection and philanthropy. Did not know son Eric moved out to LA.

I believe Eric has two other brothers.

would love to know how much they were paying Bodybuilders who were on a contract. was a lot of arguments about money or so i read. Uncle Joe made enemies too.

According to Sergiopump, Bobby Chicky Boom Boom was a major player in the underground schmoes syndicate of the IFBB. Interesting how Bobby had Sergiopump silenced after he began revealing Bobby's dirty laundry, which apparently included wrestling, humping, and arm pit sniffing.
