It actually was much more homo in the beginning. Promoters, judges and gurus were heavily homo in the 70s and before. Now they are predominately straight, which was a natural development as money began to be made and as Figure, Bikini, etc. got mixed in. But the behind the scenes money (supporting the athletes, social media interest and online expenditures like OnlyFans, etc.) has still got a lot of homo in it.
