Good collaboration. Jay gives some useful tips. Better to start with smaller movements like lateral raises before jumping into shoulder presses. I've been doing that for a while also. Warms up the muscles. TA was bragging about how he does not do any warmups. Yeah you'll get away with that until you don't.

That's a pretty cool collab there - 4x Mr. Olympia trains with 4x World's Strongest Man.

What I've noticed about these collaborations [like Rich Piana with WSM winner Hafthor Bjornsson] is that bodybuilders do have certain strengths comparable to Strongmen - if not better than Strongmen.

Specifically, bodybuilders have strong arms in general [not a focus in Strongman competitions], and tend to have good bench presses, with top bodybuilders having bench presses on par or possibly better than top Strongmen.

If you take Jay, and previously Ronnie Coleman, Dennis James, or other top pro bodybuilders...I would say that they could probably keep up with a chest workout of many Strongmen...if not even beat them.

I would say that's because bench press is not a focus of Strongman competition, and when Strongmen DO bench press...it tends to be with a wide grip, since that has the most carryover to Strongman competition for the overhead events.

That being said, WSM competitors are by no means "weak" in the bench press...but don't necessarily expect 550+ bench presses from the average top Strongman, because they just don't train bench the way bodybuilders do.

I worry about Brian Shaw, but I must say...he isn't particularly winded when he trains, or when doing interviews, etc.

I do hope he retires sooner rather than later though...I don't want him to suffer any health problems from being so massive.
