Honestly, some of the comments on this thread are disgusting.
Chris came to our gym decades ago and I received a heads up from the staff that he could be quite blatant in his (and I am being polite) "flirting" so they suggested I not train that day.
I had a couple of friends there that were homosexual that I sometimes trained along side and they agreed that I should avoid the gym if he was there. My friends were real friends to me. They NEVER said anything untoward to me and told their friends to do likewise else I might be upset and go full retard in defense of myself. I skipped training that day. Not a big deal for me and at the least it saved face for Dickerson.
I have pretty much no problem with someone that is homosexual so long as I am not subjected to attempts to sway my morality, if you will. Per the staff of the gym and my two friends, Chris was the kind of person that would do so.
And now we read that he accepted the Nazarene prior to assuming room temperature. If so, and if genuine and if what we know of Jesus of Nazareth is true, then Chris sleeps in Christ. And I am doomed to Hell because I have rejected the One.
I have no doubt that some here, homosexual and heterosexual, find that "disgusting". Go ahead. Go there. I assure you that you will be put in your place with ease.
If I am wrong in my choice and Chris was right in his, he will be far better off than I. You can take solace in that, kiddo.
