How many bolts did you have in your knees? I think I am doing just fine. Legs are blowing up I will test more weight next session. So far they have done everything I have asked them to do and I have been able to recover from the workouts without serious knee issues.

If you drop the bar a couple of inches so it sits across your rear delts and traps it will be safer on your neck you won't need the pad and you will be able to lift more weight
