I said this earlier today...fear is a powerful motivator. I'm not saying wearing a mask to take a polar dip isn't nuts, because it definitely is. But, Washington is currently having a really high COVID infection case count, over 4,600 today alone. The last 7 day average was 4,400. The highest so far in the last 6 months was over 10,000 one day in September.

People didn’t wear masks for the last 100 years after the Spanish flu. It’s amazing humans weren’t wiped out of existence.

Think of all the maskless animals that were testing positive for covid (for example the tiger at the San Diego zoo, white tail deer in the wild), it’s only a matter of time before these defenseless creatures are eliminated from the planet. We should have followed the science with this.
