Just because you have 9 Supreme Court "Justices" dressed in elaborate black robes whom are presumed to be fair and just does not mean that they are infallible or in any way unbias. These are former lawyers, plain and simple. Regardless of how decorated their resumes are, they are just people given continuous roles of higher significance over the years. While they have qualifications to be in a court room, they aren't perfect or incapable of harming the innocent. They are human beings and fall prey to the effects of outside influence (money, favors etc).

We've seen countless instances of bad decisions from the Supreme Court over hundreds of years. We can't pretend that these nine individuals are somehow sages that are incapable of making mistakes or negatively affecting the fate of US citizens. Everyone has a price.
