I hear you Ironneck, I've been the same way, always tried to tell people that just because you were from a certain place doesn't make you a certain type of person.
I've lived in mostly immigrant filled places but I always had as many Norwegian friends as I did immigrants, I can still remember when me and a Norwegian buddy were talking while he was drunk, telling me about "the fucking pakis and immigrants" but it was "not you though X, you're cool, you're ok, it's the others"
I've heard that a bunch of times. I don't blame the white man, if the white man came to Iran and had higher crime rates, didn't learn the language and exploited the welfare system I would probably be the same way, we are only human.
