I know the back story on this one. A night club didn't want black Ella Fitzgerald in his famous Mocambo club to sing. Marilyn Monroe told the club owner if you let her sing I will sit in the front row every night. The club sold out every night because of Marilyn and the world was introduced to the one of the most amazing voices of all time.
