Americans are about 3 weeks behind the European countries that have been badly hit so you'll know in 2-3 weeks time how your death rate compares.
Italy/Spain have old populations that tend to live close together, often in multigenerational family homes. The rate of smoking is also a lot higher over here so generally speaking, people's lungs are already probably more compromised than in a country with a lower number of smokers.
But who the fuck really has any idea?
