Neil Young is almost completely irrelevant. He made a couple of amazing albums. But the large bulk of his work is overrated. He appealed to a certain crowd that he didn't necessarily want to appeal to. This was the same conflict Eddie Vedder and Curt Cobain had.
Neil used his music as a platform for social change. The conscience in his music at least made sense. The modern day SJW has never heard of Neil Young and doesn't care either.
I wonder if Neil ever saw that activism in the 60's and 70's would evolve into a sham organization bent on destroying freedom and American families (blm) supposedly in the name of racial justice- but really just racism. And angry half trannies knocking over statues?
