I never cared for the more risque photos of Miss Page and missed my chance to meet her in person as I sadly did with Noel "The Body" Neill.
I kept thinking that I would make a fool of myself meeting either of those two iconic (to me) women. One a nonpareil pinup model and the other one of the first reasons I knew woman were meant for men. It must be noted that Noel was also a top pinup for our men during WWII.
Ms Neil lived in Tucson where I have family. I tend to respect the privacy of people with the exception of my one time driving past Linda Ronstadts home and seeing her stare at me through a window I flipped her off coming and going.
She too was a stunner but her vocal politics kept me from ever saying hello. Besides, she might've gone bhanky on me.
I will never get that chance again as Noel and Betty P. are gone.
