Nice ham/glute tie-in! Lon Teper approved! Matt, when you did your bodybuilding interview show, who was the nicest guy off camera and who was an asshole?
That's a really good question, Rambone.
I only had very few bad experiences - but with nobody of note. I won't mention them only because I think part of the reason for their bas attitude might be due to being at a crowded, fart-filled expo all day.
Rich Piana was always nice, and always granted me an interview. I did interview him in 2012-2013 [sort of before he was famous / just on his rise], but he was gracious to everyone, IMO. I don't know how that incident between him and Mac Truck happened.
Literally, my first time covering the Olympia [2010], I got interviews from Samir Bannout, Lee Labrada, and others - even though I had no background in vlogging. I think just being respectful goes a long.
The autism helped me in one way - I knew the dates, locations, and contest histories of so many pros, going down to obscure details, that people thought I knew them better than good friends did.
Dave Henry took with me, having recognized me from Getbig - but at the time, it was during a period where I had stopped posting here myself, and when he heard that, suddenly things were on great between us.

Frankly, I have never understood the Dave Henry bashing on here. Great physique.
Lastly [for now], I think YouTube is terribly censorious. Look at the RIDICULOUS example of censorship below - and that is why I've never been able to bring myself to post on YouTube again:
