Lol Sickening!  :D

Seems like Singerman will do almost 4 years. That's a good deal considering what he was facing.

Also federal crimes carry minimum 85% of serving time...So do they let people out for good behaviour before serving the minimum ???

Wonder how much PeeJay will get  :P

He might be able to shave a few months off if he goes through a drug diversion program in prison, and generally shows he's trying to better himself. Who knows how he'll do with that.

What is going to be a sticky wicket is the 3 years of supervised release he has to do after he does the prison sentence, I don't see Singerman having an easy time with that.

I do hope PJ gets a decent sentence, it would be sad if he gets a tremendous amount more than the Singerat.

This is the program that would knock off a lot of time if he did it right -

https://www.bop.gov/inmates/custody_and_care/substance_abuse_treatment.jsp .

Lawyer's break down of how much it could reduce a sentence -

Completion Incentives
Completion incentives include early release under 18 U.S.C. § 3621(e) as well as consideration for maximum time in a prerelease community-based treatment program to include home confinement. For low and medium security inmates who may be in RDAP institutions far from home and have more time remaining on their terms before prerelease placement in a Residential Re-entry Center, another completion incentive is consideration for transfer closer to their homes. This is significant because the new policy clearly provides that an offender can be sent to any suitable institution for RDAP without regard for where the offender’s home is, based on program space availability.

Early release under 18 U.S.C. § 3621(e) for successful completion of RDAP remains the biggest incentive, of course, but has been significantly changed by Program Statement (P.S.) 5331-02. Whereas offenders who previously completed RDAP and were otherwise eligible for early release were eligible for a sentence reduction of up to 12 months, this new policy substantially reduces the eligibility timeframe for some offenders. Specifically, only those eligible inmates serving 37 months or more will now be eligible for up to a 12- month early release. Offenders serving 31-36 months will be eligible for only up to a nine-month sentence reduction, and those serving less than 31 months will be eligible for no more than a six-month sentence reduction.

The authority in determining some eligibility factors for early release (for example, whether prior offenses or the current offense might preclude early release) has shifted from the BOP institutions and regional offices to the Designation and Sentence Computation Center (DSCC) in Texas. It is noteworthy that, for the first time, certain sex offenders (those convicted of receipt and/or possession of child pornography) are not automatically disqualified from early release eligibility.

Vince please correct Rob.

Why did you leave corrections though? Most don’t unless they have a different opportunity in LE. You left a government job with good pay and benefits to work private security?

You had to be making much more than you did at Lowe’s. Corrections is a tough gig and it’s like being in prison even though you get to go home but you know as well as I do people don’t leave the career field very often.

Were you laid off?

I wasnt laid off...i was fired.  Me and another officer got into an argument after a cell extraction because he felt i wasnt putting the cuffs on the inmate fast enough.  The woman was 5 '2 and about 100 pounds so there was no need to have 4 guys on top of her.  We said some stuff and we never came to blows and went back to my shift but came in the next day and found that we were both terminated.  I found out later that the Greenville County Council did for budget cuts...cheap fucks

They offered me back my job months later... i was working at Teletech and had my security job back so i said no thanks....i needed job security.  But im very thankful for having the job
For a black man from the hood, i used to say fuck thr police...once i walked a mile in those moccasins...my prespective definitely changed

I don't know if they even care if you're big or not.  I know a NY corrections officer and he's a tiny tit.

No, you can be any size although its preferred and affects your starting pay.  The job also has a high risk of injury or death naturally...you will definitely get hurt.   The main thing that they look for is whether you're willing to kill someone to protect the life of another officer.  Sounds simple but when you have to swear an oath at the end of training, a number of people can't do it and are terminated.

I have no problem whatsoever with killing another man or woman to protect my fellow officers or my friends and i would do it without mercy or hesitation

Hesitation can get you killed. I'll give you this story that happenned 3 months after training...OMR, this one is for you

I was working medical housing with is really the name for the psycho ward. watching the nurse give out the daily meds when an inmate started arguing with the nurse.  I come over to tell him to be patient and he jumps up and attacks me.  Knocked me right over and was on top hitting me in the face.  I kicked him off, gave him an open handed brachial stunner along with 3 elbow drops and he was still fighting so i placed him in an armbar and ended up breaking his arm.  He finally complied then so my partner could put the cuffs on him since mine flew off during the incident.  Busted nose, a shiner and a sprained ankle is what i got in just one time.  Found out later he was in their for murdering his wife.

These people are in jail and prison for a reason.  I got beat up but i held my own and most importantly went home.  All of this criminal justice, black lives matter, police reform is a crock of shit.   You're not just an officer,  you're a zookeeper and sometimes the animals get loose.

Rob, you couldnt walk in my shoes, thats why Derek Anthony spitting on me wasn't anything to me, ive been through a lot worse

Take note motherfuckers! There was no way that inmate would recover after 3 elbow drops and a humerus-fracturing armbar. But, we all know that psychiatric patients are practically mutants that can overcome pain in ways that the average person cannot. I am glad you got out of that line of work Vince.

Thank you for the story. Some of the wildest stories I have ever heard have come from police and corrections officers.

Yea he didnt care about me being black but i was getting my ass beat for a good half minute.  I still remember it...seeing the sparks flash in my eyes when he hitting me in the face.  I didnt mean to break his arm but that adrenaline kicked in...if it happenned today, i would prob be indicted for police brutality .

Worse part really was going to work next day...inmates know all the radio codes so they knew i got my ass whipped.  I just did like my big brother and put a bunch of mickey mouse bandages on.  I still got roasted for about a week.

I honestly enjoyed my job..90 percent of the people are just trying to do their time and were pretty cool.    The other 10% usually have nothing to lose with life sentences and shit.  But nope.ill never do that job again

Spent many years in a place where if you talk slick and say something out of line to somebody, you know that when you say it, you better be ready for what happens. most people here in the 'real world' aren't ready for what could happen...and run their mouths like the world is a make-believe cartoon.

People talk about the 'pussyfication' of America, yet they run their mouths thinking they won't get slapped and get their arm broken in front of their friends.

What are you talking about...i dont watch or listen to RX muscle since I hate to even hear John Romano's voice.  I was once a corrections officer so i know every way you can shave time off.  But since Romano and Dave did time, they would know the same things i would

And how do you know it was Romano who said it if you dont watch their stuff? Its not like Romano in on all the time .
