She apparently broke her back in a car accident and never recovered. Still ... absolutely brutal fall from grace. Her poor husband must wake up every day and curse the doctors who saved her.

She gave birth to her son the next year. So I doubt if that car accident is the cause of this shocking transformation.

True, there's hardly ever a legit physical excuse for becoming obese. I know it's shallow but it would absolutely suck to marry a stunner and have to watch her morph into a hefty farm animal.

It looks like menopause hit her real bad. She looks no different from many older white women I see in my area. They fade horribly after menopause. The light skin gets destroyed by the sun. Weight gain. Tons of make up a must! Starting to resemble lard, and probably smells like ass.

She was so hot in Jackie Brown but you could tell what the future held by the thick ankles and baby fat visible all over her soft body. The article said she retired from Hollywood 12 years ago. I think it's more likely that Hollywood retired her.
