didn't he train as samurai in Japan ??

He worked as an EMT for awhile too - I like the willingness to keep working, training , learn new things

some dudes just get fat, lazy and talk shit when they get some money

I watched some video with Gironda talking about allowing some chick to train him in his gym although he normally didn’t allow other personal trainers in the gym

Never had anything against him, but tried to listen to him on Rogan, and he was so annoying I bailed very early.

To be fair to Roth, he doesn't look bad. He looks his age and he's not trying to look 20 years younger. What I found annoying about the Rogan episode(s) was that Joe wanted or expected him to the be the David Lee Roth from Van Halen and he's not in his early 20's anymore and has moved on and has always had many interests and doesn't seem to care to go back and be that person he was during his 20's.

ive seen him live in a club with his solo band
ive seen him twice with van halen

every time just horrible live (talking the lyrics even out of sync with where they should be)
loved him as a frontman (on record) though when I was young and into VH (way before i saw him live)
though sammy is 10x the singer, I will always choose "VH 1" thru "fair-warning" over anything else.
once 1984 dropped i had enough of them
didnt like that direction they went into (though a few good tunes on there)
