If the poor people are imported into the world, does this mean they come from another planet? How does that work, Matt? Maybe that's not what you meant to write.

All Liberal voters should be required to house all the immigrants and homeless people.

It would change our society completely in a matter of months.

On the same note, if we could get conservatives to take in all the babies and children in orphanages  that would help a lot as well.

Primemuscle,

Would you invite a homeless person to live in your house?

The answer is no.

Why do you ask the same questions repeatedly when you think you already know the answer? The truth is you are wrong. So, I will humor you.

A young woman who was my cousin's coworker in the early 70's got pregnant. She either quit or was fired from her job. She was on the outs with her parents. My wife and I took her in until her baby came and she was eligible for ADC.

Several years ago, my nephew got himself into trouble with the law and spent some time in jail. When he was released, we took him in until he got a job and got on back his feet.

One of my cousins moved to Oregon until he found work and could afford his own place, we took him in.

The elder of my two sisters lived with us twice. Once when she was about 16 and again after she and her husband divorced and she had nowhere to go.

After a very traumatic event my wife's sister moved in. She lived with us for several months until she felt safe enough to rent an apartment which was next door to our house.

Homeless people are often just regular folks who are temporarily down on their luck.

If you are asking if I would take in a homeless person today. The answer is I have no room. Right now, every bedroom is occupied. My grandson, his fiancé and their baby girl are currently living here until they can get enough funds together to rent
their own place. If that were not the case and I knew someone who needed a leg up, I'd take them in. Chances are, I would not give someone who I did not know at all or had no previous connection with a place to stay.

When I was five years old my parents separated. Neither of them was able to properly care for me. I lived with several relatives and a few hired people care givers until I was eight and moved to California to live with my mom and stepdad. Technically, I was homeless almost an orphan.

Although she not really homeless, my wife and I had just gotten married when my aunt and uncle separated. Their daughter did not want to live with either of them, so she moved in with us. She was 15 years old at the time. She stayed with us until she was eighteen after which she got a place of her own. Sometimes when she was moving from one place to another she'd stay with us for a short while.

My two sisters came to stay with us when our mother was ill. They stayed for about a year.

If more people were willing to open their homes to people they trusted and who were in need of a place to live, there would be a few less homeless people living on the streets.

Mayday

My understanding from across the ocean is homeless moved there because of homeless benefits?

Therefore by trying to ‘help’ the homeless they increased the number of homeless.

Showing you can’t simply give a homeless person $600/mth and it solves homeless people problems. They have massive substance issues along with mental issue so they’re likely fucked regardless of how much money you give them.

I have NFI how to solve that issue btw but I know it isn’t inviting drug addicted people with mental health issues into your home.

Interesting.  I find that liberal Democrats are the most hypocritical, intolerant, nasty people.  Insofar as liberals and leftists leave me alone, I don't wish any ill will upon them.  As they continue to encroach into my life through their various failed policies, I do push back though.  Having the police charged recently was a big step for me.  I called the police yesterday [Saturday night], and told them I will have an armed standoff over the illegal vaccine passport on a date between April 1st and May 1st, if the illegal system is not stopped by then.

The police stated that I would not be allowed in the facility I wish to train at, and I would be removed as an "unwanted person".  I tried to explain to the police cadet taking the call that medical information is protected in Canada, and doubly protected under Ontario law - that I absolutely CANNOT be removed from a facility for not revealing my private medical status.

I don't know how many times this needs to be said, but under Canadian law, you absolutely cannot demand a person's vaccination status nor can you ask for ANY OTHER PRIVATE MEDICAL INFORMATION.  Period, bar none.

But what does this have to do with liberals and leftists?

Ah, you see, Prime - it is your side, the insane far-left, that is doing this.  It is your side that is now making it illegal for me to GO TO A GYM AND TRAIN, to maintain my physical and mental health, because the batshit crazies on your side are afraid of a virus that is 99% survivable, and more like 99.99% survivable for someone who is my age and health status.

That's the left doing that - and I am very bitter about it.  As I said, I'd be fine just living it alone, but you keep pushing it, and the left is basically pushing things to the point of civil war.  And if it comes to that, I can guarantee you - it's not the gun-owning right-wing that will be eliminated.  I can guarantee you that.

Best-case scenario: even if the Western left DOES win, there will be a SHIT LOAD of casualties on your side.  Like in WWII, when the Nazis "lost" [lmao].  Yeah, in case you didn't notice - 50% of deaths were Allied CIVILIANS.  Hardly a "victory", really.

But the left keeps pushing it, Prime.  Now to a point where I can train at the facility I've been a member at for over 20 years, or take my children to a restaurant on their birthdays.  Even if I was vaccinated, I couldn't take my daughter out to her birthday when she turns five years, because SHE wouldn't be vaccinated on the day of her 5th birthday.

I know someone who can't currently go to the gym because he is waiting for his booster - which isn't scheduled for a couple more weeks.  He did everything right, and he STILL can't go to the gym!  And THIS is why the left is insane, and why I just want you insanoids to stay out of my life.

Looks like I will be in a very bad situation with the police come April or May, as there is zero chance I will be putting up with this illegal vaccine passport system by then.  Sounds like Canadians on the whole are starting to not tolerate it...but time will tell.  They REALLY overplayed their hand this time out [Western governments].

Fucking psychos.

Of course, you and other leftists WANT that to happen.

And I always find that you and other leftists refuse to practice what you preach.  You praise the homeless, but wouldn't ever do anything for a homeless person.

So with that, I am amazed you actually did something for someone, Prime.  I expected a much more selfish life history from you.  I am shocked you did something nice for a homeless person.  Don't get me wrong - I'm not saying that was a good thing.  I'm just saying I am surprised to see a leftist practice what he preaches.

If you are asking if I would take in a homeless person today. The answer is I have no room. Right now, every bedroom is occupied. My grandson, his fiancé and their baby girl are currently living here until they can get enough funds together to rent

Good.  Neither would I.

The idea that homeless people are good people, and just "down on their luck" is just a bullshit narrative, fed to people by leftist scumbags.  By and large, homeless people are sad, pathetic pieces of shit, and got into the situation they did by being lazy girls, or worse yet - thieving pieces of shit garbage humans who stole from family and friends.

If your little fantasy about homeless people was accurate, you and other leftists wouldn't avoid the homeless LIKE THE PLAGUE.

Don't get me wrong - SO DO I.

The difference is - you claim to tolerate the homeless.

I don't.

Exactly, exactly, exactly.  This x1,000.

This is why I simply can't stand left-wing dumb shits, and just want them out of my life.  God, I feel like this fucking assholes completely scammed me out of a life history until around age 25, when I figured this out.  Fucking bastards, lying to me about the nature of people, when in reality it is just, as you said, that these homeless people are drug-addicted pieces of shit, who will just have a greater addiction if you give them money.

Of course we get more poor people if we build a whole industry around poverty.  I think Kenya's population went from something like 25 million in 1985, and 50 million in 2015, because of increased levels of aid.  So WHO EXACTLY WAS SAVED?

Now we have TWICE as many Kenyan people, including Kenyan children, starving to death?  HOW IS THAT A GOOD THING?

A homeless man is facing aggravated assault charges after he slashed the throat of a Utah woman who opened her home to him so he could shower.

Eric Jones, 30, allegedly assaulted the unidentified woman last Sunday at her Salt Lake City apartment in what police say appears to be a 'random attack'.

When police arrived to her apartment, the victim - whose identity is being withheld due to a request for privacy - was 'bleeding heavily'.

She was taken to an area hospital in critical condition and underwent emergency surgery, according to a police press release. Doctors have since downgraded her to stable condition.

Jones was arrested early Friday morning approximately two miles from the scene of the attack. He was taken to the Salt Lake County Metro Jail and booked on one count of aggravated assault.

Salt Lake City officers responded to 850 West Temple Street just before 5pm on Sunday, February 6 for reports of a woman bleeding.

Preliminary investigation revealed the woman had welcomed Jones who she described as 'being homeless,' into her residence to take a shower.

It remains unclear if Jones knew the victim prior to the incident.

Salt Lake City detective Michelle Mechling told Fox 13 the suspect, later identified as Jones, attacked the woman and fled the scene.

Officers administered first aid to the victim at her home until paramedics were able to transport her to the hospital.

In wake of the incident, Mechling warned residents: 'It goes along with – know who you’re letting into your house and don’t let people you don’t know into your house.'

According to inmate records, Jones currently remains in jail. His bond is set at $10,000.

As to your upcoming gym showdown I hope you get a wake up call before it is too late. I guess mama can bail you out if the police don't shoot you for being an annoying cunt.

What was his question? Would you take in the homeless?

I saw you had an answer about taking in family members, and we know that is something you still do (even though i'm sure living with them isnt taking them in,  but my point is made nonetheless) but I'm sure Matthews question was about the actual homeless who are non relatives.

Our country, and our leaders, has abandoned the mentally ill.
