I can't remember if Vince was born in 1942 or 1944.  I think 1942 - if so, he will be turning 80 this year.  In some sense, I hope I do make 80.  But if Canada is intent on becoming a communist country, then I don't know...is life worth living if you are not free?  I don't even get how it happened that Big Pharma was so desperate for cash that they need to engage in the most despicable form of drug PUSHING on people.

I just want to calmly repeat myself here: I said no.  That's all there is too it.  Now you have to stop asking me [my government].

This relates to Vince, because he lives in Australia if I'm not mistaken [unless this changes, or he is only there seasonally or something].

Had you asked me five years ago, I would have said that Australia was one of many countries joining Canada, Sweden, and England on its race to the bottom.  But...that was all fear for the future.  In Australia, this stuff is actually currently happening.  It may depend on the state though.  Maybe Vince is in a sane state.

Imagine living to your late seventies, only to see the shit-show that is modern-day Australia.

Hi Matt. I am both a Canadian and Australian citizen. Been in Sydney since January 1971. I quit Simon Fraser University and emigrated to get a job. Ended up teaching PE in high school and also opened our gym in August 71. Great place to live. No snow and flowers in bloom every month of the year. Some of the best beaches in the world and the scenery is great as well.

About Australia and the way they tried to eliminate the virus. Each state at one time or other closed borders to the rest of Australia. Australia closed its border to foreigners. I couldn't leave here if I wanted to. Tomorrow visitors can come here from overseas. You have to be double vaccinated to leave and come here. All bs and the government has no clue what to do. Imagine if the provinces closed their borders to other Canadians. Australians are mostly double vaccinated...over 95% in NSW where I live. We were promised lots of freedoms last December 15 but Omicron arrived and more restrictions were imposed. Many people feel they have lost about 2 years of their lives. The lockdowns here lasted from July to November. 4 long months. Didn't stop the virus because it evolved to be more infectious. Silly health authorities have no clue. Just get vaccinated and now get your booster. All bullshit.

Hopefully things get better this year. I will be 80 in September. Still training my arms which are near 18 inches. Australia is still better than Canada except it is far away from the rest of the world. I couldn't live in a country that is cold for 6 or more months. Vancouver is an exception but it rains too much in the winter.
