He didnt threaten kids as how I read it.   He asked an extremely crude question to Spaulding.  I would not have have asked that, but it was not a threat to the kids.  The conversation started with him asking whether you two were in a relationship.  Spaulding got extremely upset and it went downhill from there and trading insults.
