The initial inquiry made by Josh to Spaulding was based upon his obsession with Bhanks on his numerous gram photos 3/4 - 7/8 naked in the backyard, the bathroom,  etc wherever anyone can set up a selfie ring.   The initial question was not hostile from what I saw.  Josh asked to confirm the relationship at first and Spaulding got extremely defensive; as obviously Bhanks is too for some reason.   It has devolved and melted down from there.
