It is Russia that uses untrained and poorly trained soldiers. Ukrainian soldiers are well trained and smart. Russia's economy has never been weaker. Until the full scale invasion the majority of Ukrainians did not support joining Nato. Now 83 percent do.

Russia does not believe in Ukraine's right to exist independently. Russia wants the fertile soil in Ukraine for itself. And Nato might be supplying weapons but it is the Ukrainians by and large that are doing the fighting and they are not fighting for Nato but for themselves, their own survival. Nato troops are not participating in the conflict.
