Germany is an interesting one in that they seem hell bent on giving themselves uppercut after uppercut.
Perhaps this is Germany’s tactic to crush the PIIGS and damage the euro so the weak countries become so busted up they leave the EU? After the EU is cleansed Germany fires up the nuclear plants?
It‘a clear as day the US is laying waste to the EU and it looks like Germany is trying to make it much much worse lol. So either Germany is wanting to kill itself or there is a plan for its eventual benefit.

It's the party of vocal Green retards in Germany who still expect the timeline for shutting down nuclear plants to be kept, but officially plans to scrap them are now on hold. They also have a coal power plant on standby in case they need starting up.
Similar story in France and UK. UK is even considering fracking.
If you want a tin foil answer you could easily make the argument that the war in Ukraine was a way to save nuclear plants and make fracking viable. Politicians who previously would be vilified for supporting these initiatives are suddenly called saviours. Deglobalisation advances another step.
