Is it just me?
« on: March 05, 2022, 10:58:28 AM »
I used to be a patriotic American. Grew up in military/law enforcement family during Reagan era. Loved Reagan. Now, after pointless Middle Eastern wars, hyper-militarized policing, media lies, money over everything culture, Covid, 2020 election shenanigans, “woke” culture, etc., I’m just not feeling very patriotic anymore. Am I only the one who doesn’t feel very patriotic anymore? I can take or leave USA now. I will live and die here but it doesn’t feel special to me anymore.

You've basically become European. This is how a lot of Europeans have always viewed America.

Ain’t just you.

I’m Canadian. Have come to not have one ounce of belief in or respect for our institutions.

The country in which I was conceived, birthed and raised no longer exists.

Now it’s a multicultural, Woke, Libtard hellhole.

Fuck the world.

How can you feel good about a country where you feel bad for the kids who live there?

Because IMO it is still the best place to live and I have faith that normalcy shall return....to a degree anyway.

You’re not the only one, the globalists have demoralized us all. If I went to war on America’s behalf what would I be fighting for? Welfare checks? Race mixing? Gay pride? Black Lives Matter? Open borders? Uncontrolled spending and corruption? Transgender children? Everything is now rotten to the core, I choose to protect what little I have left now. Although it would take another country to actually invade.

You have to remember the premise is freedom.  Regardless of how we got here and how politicians pervert it. The idea is to continuously improve the process. Thats American.  To try and make things right.

All those things you listed are being done in America to Americans but they are not American.  Yep bloody history, yep trampled rights, greed, corruption, government over reach. Always gonna be there....

But now more than ever being patriotic means supporting the ideals of freedom, justice, true equality (not equity which is ironically institutional racism) an objective legal system. Opportunities and pursuit of happiness.

You got to fight for these things. Theyre being corrupted and perverted.

I think it depends on where you live in the U.S.  I've always been in the midwest and where I'm at now has a huge military presence so there is still rationality mostly, and an "America! Fuck Yeah!" attitude.  The black side of the main city is another story, and sadly the Hispanic part is going that way too.  I love hispanic wowen so I've been to that part of town a lot in years past.  Now they are intermingling with the nig nogs in relationships and in drug dealings.  All of the bad news we see on tv here almost always comes from those two parts of the city.

If I wasn't on disability, I would move to Thailand.  The lady that has cut my hair for roughly 30+ years has a son that moved there after getting his masters in psyc, and to work on getting his PHD while getting a job over there teaching English.  He told her "Mom, I love you, but I will never live in America again.  It's just too amazing here"  So her, her husband, and his sister all went to visit, and she was like "yeah, I get it now".  She showed me pics from their first trip, and some were amazing while others (like the streets and especially the electric grid look 3rd world)  I looked on YT after that, and it's amazing what you can get over there compared to here as far as real estate and especially food.  Plus I think steroids are totally legal.  I might be wrong though as I never talked to her about that.

Anyway, to give an example, I live in a great suburb of the main city here in a really nice 2 bed and bath apt that is subsidized those on SS and SSDI like me.  I pay just under $800 a month, and have the noise of one of the busiest streets in this part of town.  My barbers son paid around $650-700 when he first moved to Thailand for a two bed motel that had a kitchen and everything, was on the beach, and it had an indoor and outdoor pool, plus a gym.  He is now renting a house with 3 beds and 2 baths on the beach for around $800 if I recall right what she told me.  When she showed me the pics of the places they ate at (there was 5 people eating) the table was loaded with food and booze on top of a building overlooking the ocean. I was like "holy shit Jamie, how much did you guys spend there?"  and she told me with leaving a tip it was like $60-70 bucks.  So basically you can eat awesom steak, chicken, seafood meals and get blasted for around 12-15 dollars a person.  She also showed me pics of the food markets they went through.  She had one of a huge steak skewer that looked delicious. I asked her how much it was, and she told me it was $1.50 US.  I hate seafood tremendously to the point that even the smell makes me want to vomit, but back in the day my friends were all drug dealers and had to eat at the best places, so we went to alot of sushi restaurants.  I would get two steak skewers with no sides that would equal the one she showed me and it was between $15-$20.  That was over 25 years ago so I can't even imagine what it's like now as I have never gone back to a Japanese place since they went to prison.

Sorry, for the Matt type long ass post but I'm just trying to paint a pic with words.  In short,  would I fight and die for this country.  "Fuck Yeah!"......for now.  If the left takes over with their agendas, I probably only have 20 years or less in life so I would just deal with it.  If I didn't have all the medical issues I have, my ass would have moved to Thailand a couple of weeks after her showing me the pics she did and all the wonderful stories she told me.

That's a great quick summation of what I posted without the Thailand stuff.  I fear for my niece and nephew who are both under 10.  I'm close to 50, and with the way this country/world is going on top of my medical issues....I honestly don't think I want to live past 65 :-[  Sad to say, but true.

why anyone would want big government to control their life is beyond sane
cuckold, wimp, braindead libtard behavior
pubs want less gov intervention
libtards like to be controlled, dominated while being a beta-cuck
the handful of tards here who are lib prove it daily
their moist vagina's are dripping with tranny-jizz as we speak
confused about gender, could care less about our safety, borders, children, etc

woke kvnts who can go fvck themselves.
normalcy will be back (few years), this insane party is eating itself alive

though the real good ole days are long gone

We'll find out in November what "America" really wants assuming the elections are controlled/legal this time by every state.  If Texas goes blue with all the retards from CA and other blue states moving there, and Beta gets elected governor..... this country is dead and the Constitution is just an old doc you can look up on the web.

Its the beginning of the end... but it's not the end. And in this scenario, through distorted news, mass manipulation, corruption, the losers are winning for now.

But won't forever.

The Greek word patēr, which means father, was the basis for the word patris, or native land, and so patriotic came to mean "a love of country."

There's no country anymore, just a big corporation and we are consumers instead of citizens.

Girls and sons who have not been loved by their fathers seek attention once teens and adults to compensate for what they didn't have originally. Fathers either left them alone, or were distant most of the time and not encouraging them. Some even despised them which would shape their personality and the way they interact with others for the rest of their life. They are extremistic in everything they do, always looking exaggeratly for attention (Hello Goodrum), and have troubles adapting to society's rules, because they also have troubles defining their own identity and respecting authority and hierarchy.

Also boys who got picked on by others during childhood and adolescence -often sons without a father figure- try to compensate by lifting weights, to develop muscles and survive in ther male world. They're insecure because they're girly, childish, feminine having been raised by a single mom. They lift obsessively hoping it will transform them into men, to compensate for their lack of influence from a father figure that was not there. Unfortunately they can get as big as they can but it doesn't cure their insecurity and who they truly are, how they grew up being raised by a single mom. They're not as manly as other men whatever they do, and they often have a big lack of masculine presence they don't know how to balance, hence often being borderline homosexuals while trying to get their manhood back through various manly activities (MMA, cars, weight lifting etc.).

They are often the ones that, in order to get respect from other males, will go the steroids route to get even "bigger", attempting to cure their insecurity, but being natural not being "enough", they still feel "too small", insecure, amongst other males. The lack of a father figure also often means they didn't have guidance to continue studies and are often working shitty manual jobs.

Texas will not go blue. My community is one of the fastest growing if not the fastest in the state and the Californians we are getting so far really seem to know what they’re getting here and remember what they’re leaving. Many of them come and are relieved to be able to take a step back socially 30 or 40 years.
