I used to read motivational books and watch vids about success.

They can be helpful to keep you going.

The purveyors of these products are usually con-artists but they can stlll be helpful mentally.

What Getbig admires about you most, Bhanky, is your humility and selflessness.

As far as weightlifting, this is the most motivational video I have seen.

Parenting would be this guy.
When I'm tired, and on the couch I think of what Hoyt did for his kids and get up.

I watch a few "self help" videos a week, there's usually a few good things I can take away from each one.

The quest for good looking whores is a stronger motivation than any inspiring speech.  I'm only motivated by pussy.

Usually Russian slavic-type girls but occasionally Norwegian and French girls.  Pretty, thin, fit, with perky tits and round asses.  That's what motivates me to stay stay in shape and make sure my money is right.

Lol!

Well...that's a good lift for my weight [I'm 173-lb]. The record in my city for 225 for reps is 30, held by 2x Ontario's Strongest Man Luke Skaarup, tied with his younger [and smaller genetic freak] brother Dan.

I don't want to break the record with 31, only because someone will break that with 32. But I'd like to tie it = 225x30 @175-lb body weight.

This is where the top two strongest guys in my city went for the record, where Luke Skaarup [who was the Ontario's Strongest Man champion that year] got 30 reps:

Your 1 rep strength is very good. Your repetition strength is unlike anything I have ever seen. I do some strength work with a local university football team. We test 225 on bench each year. There are years you would top the team. Some of these guys are monsters between 240 -330 lbs. How a guy that is around 175lbs with 15 inch arms and limited triceps development can have such endurance strength is a genetic anomoly. I can't train the way you do. My body would flood with so much stress hormones that it would destroy my mental health. It's just amazing to see. I do low rep strength stuff, and really light high volume stuff . Nothing in between. I monitor my mood and pump. The goal is to feel strong and happy all the time. 30 years of training and your bench video is truly the most inspiring thing I have ever seen in this crazy world of strength.

When you want to skip leg day

Luckily for me today is leg day. The knee is not stable I have issues standing much less walking for extended periods of time. I am afraid of stairs. I bet my legs are still better than most of the board. Should be better tomorrow after todays work but not horrific today.

Of course, I want more size but those are tear dropped separated off season legs on a 44-year-old man who has had bilateral knee surgeries with hardware at 19. I am bone on bone everywhere. I can barely walk yet my legs are trained. I think I am doing great and making progress. I have no doubt in 12 months they will be my strong suit.
