Smaller than 23 gauge for a glute injection is unnecessary. A sharp 23 won't leave much scar tissue. Living in Mexico for years, I rocked the Sustanon preloads with the 18 gauge(later 20 for comfort..

) and that shit was literally a carpenters nail. 23 is nothing. Plus you get jamming problems and slow draws depending on the type of oil when you go smaller than 23. Yes you can draw with a wider gauge and switch to smaller to inject, but again unnecessary. A 23 gauge 1.5 inch is perfect for glutes. Only reason to go smaller is for shoulders or if you are doing subQ. But again, unnecessary. A good glute shot has few major nerves, veins or other shit that could go wrong. If you are a heavy user, you might shoot so much that a 25 gauge might give extra protection against scar tissue, but I don't think 23 to 25 is that much different when it comes to scar tissue. 23 is perfect.
