Biden attended the House Democrats’ retreat in Philadelphia as a politically hobbled president.
A Wall Street Journal poll released that morning showed
57 percent of Americans disapproved of Joe Biden as president and that voters favored Republicans to control Congress by a five-point margin. 
Facing repudiation at the hands of voters, Biden warned Democrats that if Republicans won back the majority it would spell the end of his socialist legislative agenda.
“This off-year election, in my view, may be the most important off-year election in modern history. Because we know what happens, we know the fundamental change that shifts if we lose the House and Senate. The only thing I’ll have then is a veto pen,” Biden told Democrats.
Biden then blamed inflation on Vladimir Putin ordering an invasion of Ukraine. “Make no mistake, inflation is largely the fault of Putin,” Biden exclaimed.
At one point Biden began shouting – and random and unfocused shouting is a symptom of dementia – about how he was sick of being blamed for inflation.Biden then falsely claimed the government spending trillions upon trillions of dollars had nothing to do with inflation.
“I’m sick of this stuff!” Biden began hollering. “We have to talk about it because the American people think the reason for inflation is the government spending more money. Simply. Not. True.”
Even Biden’s own fellow Democrats could not swallow this lie.
Former Obama economic advisor and MSNBC contributor Steve Rattner explained that Biden had to “own” the inflation numbers because the February report did not factor in the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
“Well, no. These are [Feb. numbers] and only include small Russia effect,” Rattner wrote on social media.
“This is Biden’s inflation and he needs to own it.”Biden and his paid spinmeister Jen Psaki also tried to falsely claim the surge in gas prices was the “Putin price hike.”
This was also untrue.
When Joe Biden took office gas prices were about $2.40 a gallon.
Prices skyrocketed nearly a dollar by the anniversary of Joe Biden taking office, a full month before Putin ordered the invasion.
Inflation is spiraling out of control because
Joe Biden continues to spend trillions of dollars on socialist welfare schemes.And gas prices shot up because Joe Biden engineered the price hike by limiting the supply of American energy.
Joe Biden is lying by claiming inflation is the fault of Putin.
Even other Democrats called him out on this big lie.
