Troy Zuccoltto wtf
« on: March 19, 2022, 11:12:56 AM »
stumbled across him on FB. what's his story these days? he looks to be "CEO" of some hot dog stand called Youth Tech Longevity Institute which is VERY vague but from what I can tell is just another "supplement" company? He's has all the usual worthless accolades mostly from the usual hangers-on and mostly regarding 2 Lambos he owns? or leases? and he's constantly seen with the necessary bone smoking big cigar stuffed in his mouth? Is this guy legit or just another pretender?  looks really schmo here

.

His thing is an anti ageing clinic with some light plastic surgery work thrown in (botox, etc....). From his own account, he's making bank from it, he discusses it here with Mike "Moosejay" Dusa -

http://bodybuilding-mauritius.blogspot.com/2015/03/a-conversation-with-1989-npc-national.html .

"MD: I am interested in hearing about your present business, "Youth Tech Longevity and Laser Institute."

TZ: It's really grown-we have four locations now. We utilize all the cutting-edge in anti-aging technology. We use lasers, do stem cell facials, botox, fillers, fat loss, hormone replacement therapies. We have nurses and estheticians on staff as well as physicians. I have been at this for 20 years now. We have two locations in Newport Beach, another in the San Diego area, and one in north Dallas.

It's not an easy business, despite our success. We do everything right and cut no corners. People ask how I look the way I do...I live to espouse being a "product of my product." People want to look and feel good today. We help them take care of their skin. We help them replace hormones lost as they age. We employ therapeutic dosages to get the person's physiology back to where it was in their 20's or 30's. Osteoporosis, heart disease, decreases in testosterone, growth hormone, shrinking of muscles and organs-all these things occur as we age. Our therapies counteract these changes."

And he got the capital to make that bank from his time in the WBF. His old training partner, Shawn Ray, even complained that one of the reason that he didn't jump ship is because McMahon offered "the Zuke" more money. ($250K/year vs Ray's $225K/year, despite Ray's 3rd-place finish at the 1990 Olympia; Zuke hadn't even competed on a pro stage at that point).

The 1989 NPC National Champion and IFBB Mr Universe claimed that, when the WBF closed up shop, Vince McMahon paid out the third year of his contract, over $300K.

Back in the 90s a huge guy walks into a YMCA. We had some big guys on the gas and this guy made them look small. He did some pump training and left.  Guys there said it was IFBB pro Troy Z. Maybe it was?  Nice guy and real friendly to us all. Troy is making a fortune out there with this anti aging gig. Tons of rich people out there who want to look better.

Legal steroid dealing is one of the safest, profitable money makers. Pay a couple guys who just barely, technically became enough of a doctor to legally write a script for gear(Compounding pharmacies can produce more exotic anabolics(Jay Cutler apparently got his EQ legit pharma from compounding).

Why do you think bodybuilders started getting all this bloodwork the last several years? Because they care about their health?
Get the bloodwork to get the prescription. Medical protocol or it's a red flag.  That's how Dr. Bruce Nadler got popped for prescribing steroids, his downfall ending in murder/suicide. They said he was prescribing them without getting bloodwork. But your medical records are private. 4th Amendment. Only you and your doctor can decide if you have low hormone levels. And your doctor is a jacked bodybuilder too. What a scheme!

That's why all the bloodwork now because guys like Iron Addicts or Nadler got greedy(or too friendly with the patients) and stopped following protocol for prescribing steroids. Online scripts, no bloodwork, prescribing tren, etc. It has to be by the book. This is the best era of steroids since the late 70s. The only reason to go UG shit is for shit not made by legit pharma(like tren, etc.), or you are BROKE and can't afford to work with a corrupt TRT clinic. Even if your script isn't enough, you can get middle aged muscle schmoes to get scripts and give their shit to you for muscle worship sessions.

Never liked his physique. Weird angles everywhere and blocky. Plus, his skin tone, in shape, resembled that of a lobster.

Wish him well.

He's had that clinic for over a decade, at least. And it appears he's doing quite well for himself. Don't forget, in addition to his WBF salary, he also got resigned by Weider for a couple of years. I remember he was the star of the Mega Mass video tape that came free with a 12-lb bag of Super Mega Mass 2000, nearly 30 years ago.

Good guy and smart, went as far as he could in bodybuilding with the genetics he had, then got out and got into anti ageing before it was mainstream, no hanging around trying to swim up stream against the very top guys, Troy would win or lose more in a vegas weekend than most bodybuilders who placed above him back in the day made in their careers. Big time dealer back before he went legit with his clinics, Props to him looks healthy and happy.

Pretty much exactly what I was going to say.  He got into the game very early, figuring out the legalities b4 others, and did well enough to expand as it became more acceptable.  Smart dude, and now could buy 5 of Shawn Ray's homes at least.  Props to him for his success, and the dude still looks great....he has to be over 50, maybe 55 by now?

He looks really good for his age, beats out some younger guys that’s for sure. Heard stories about him training from a dude that lived in his area, yes, he was a big time back in the day in the market.

Did you expect him to be a "pro bodybuilder" the rest of his life? He probably decided he wanted to make money. lol

More like make MORE money. After being treated like a king for two years in the WBF, making relative pennies in the IFBB (even with a Weider contract) had to be a bit demoralizing.

The whole anti aging movement is ridiculous. Ever since the dawn of man there has been desire to live forever or stay young. All have failed. This is the mindset a person has when their whole concept of self is their body.

Good find! Nice interview, so it looks like he was smart and took his WBF money and whatever money and invested in coin operated car washes.
