Always deadlift with a comfy couch or lazyboy recliner behind you.

But why does that happen he didn't hold his breath that long. What causes this phenom? Is it something to do with a change in blood pressure?

   What is the Valsalva effect?
The Valsalva maneuver is a breathing method that may slow your heart when it's beating too fast. To do it, you breathe out strongly through your mouth while holding your nose tightly closed. This creates a forceful strain that can trigger your heart to react and go back into normal rhythm.Jan 10, 2020

Never passed out in over 30 years of deadlfting. I did lose my vision in one eye a few times. What felt like 30-60 seconds. I started to panic a little bit.

It's super popular right now for some reason.

I've always enjoyed them.  Mostly because it was one exercise that when I figured out technique, it was infinitely easier to progress.

I had a dizzy spell for the first time a month ago, and haven't done them since.

You don’t like when a flat bench is turned into a decline bench?

I’m good at making my incline presses a borderline flat bench.

Also I’m more impressed by the amount of people that can pull 500 now. I thought that used to be an accomplishment.
