As everyone knows, I fear for everyone's health.I've put off doing another actual proper cycle for 15.5 years now because heaven forbid my blood pressure go up to 110/70.
Hypochondria sucks, but...on the other hand, there are benefits to being overly health conscious, as long as you keep some level of rational grip on it [awareness you are being irrational].
With that said, I fear for Brian Shaw's health.Brian was something like 450-lb at the 2016 Arnold Pro Strongman, and I think he was at least 385-lb when he competed at last year's WSM, where he placed 2nd.
One thing I notice about Brian is that he doesn't breathe heavily, or seem out of breath very often. Compare that to Greg Kovacs for example, who would get winded just sitting at an expo autograph signing in a tank top while having a fan blow dry ice on him, or start sweating profusely while eating steak chopped up into small pieces, fed to him by his wife.
While with Greg, the writing seemed to be on the wall a solid decade before he ultimately passed, I don't get that impression about Brian Shaw.
Am I wrong to fear for his health?And can he become the oldest winner of the World's Strongest Man contest, at 40 this year?
I think he can do it...it won't necessarily be easy, but I wouldn't count him out.
