Yikes
What a way to go
Geezis. I never world have thought that about any of them. I'm not a fan, bcuz Grohl wears an upside down cross necklace. I don't know if he's a satanist, or it's just a rock and roll thing, but it has always turned me away from them aside from the fact that I believe he and Courtney had something to do with Curt's death. I don't think Dave liked begin just a drummer, and was jealous of Curt's spotlight as the frontman. I mean he was a really good drummer, and soon after Curt's "suicide" he formed Foo Fighter and was the frontman.
IDK? In interviews he and the rest of Foo Fighters all seem like great dudes. They bring fans onstage every show which is probably an experience they will hold as the best memory or their lives. Go on YT and google Nandi plays with Foo Fighters, Kiss Kid plays with Foo Fighte, 10 year oled
Caleb plays with Foo Fighters.
Taylor gave up a lot of the spotlight most of the time during these "come up here and play" shit they did as most I've seen other than "Kiss kid" were drummers. Seemed to be a really good dude, who was very talented as singer too, and didn't mind giving up the spotlight to "no body's."
Fuck it, I'll search YT and post some. Nandi is famous at 11. Has played with Foo, Kravitz, and did a Master Class with Chad Smith from Chili Peppers, and some other drummer I don't know. She has her own YT channel, and Kravitz sent her a special edition Ludwig drum kit with a video message. She must have done something with Rage Against the Machine too, bcuz Tom Morello sent her one of his guitars long with a vidieo message encouraging her to learn another instrument, and saying she was way ahead of him at the same age. Doubt she'll ever use it. If you watch her channel or vids, you'll never see a happier kid than when she is driumming. Anyway, Chad is not that great of a drummer, and she picked up his shit like it was nothing. The other guy was a journeyman type of drummer...I think he played with David Lee Roth when he went his own way though. He thought he was the shit trying to teach her some weird Brazilian shit. He played it twice slow so she could learn it.........she got it, and he said "let's try it faster" She killed it in 5 minutes. He just watched her like WTF?, and said, "Nandi, it too me a week to learn that"
Maybe there is some hope for rock music in the future, and this rapping/hip hop shit with pre-made beats and lyrics about killing and drugs goes away.
Anyway, RIP Taylor! For a famous rock star, you seemed to be a really nice and good dude. I'm shocked he died. I was also shocked when Chester Bennigtoon from LP, STP, and he own stuff killed himself. I remember being front row to see them in IA, and at the end of the show I got a tap on my shoulder...I ignored it thinking was security, and we were trying to leave. A girl behind me, said "dude turn the fuck around", and there was Chester in front of me reaching out to shake my hand, and said "thanks for coming to the show. I saw you singing along and banging your head the whole show. You're why we do this" I was just like WTF just happened?, and I am not a star struck person at all having lived in GB. WI and seeing Packer players was a weekly thing. I've been front row to every concert except with when I was a kid with my mom seeing Survior at Lambo after their annual 4th of July fireworks, and David Lee Roth. Never have I seen a group member come down to shake hands, let alone seek a specific person out, and telling them/me that they noticed them. That dud was such a huge talent. I actually cried when I heard he killed himself. Not just because I interacted with him, but who the fuck else has been successful as a lead in 3+ groups? Such talent, worth millions, and tons of fans....what in the world would make a person with all that take their life is why I was sad, and left wondering WTF
Got off track....sad to see what seemed to be one of the few good rock stars go early, and reminded me of other shit....here's Nandi taking over for Taylor...
Here's "Kiss Kid" with Foo Fighters...actually after searching it's "kiss guy"
This kid they brought on stage and made the local news here while Foo Fighters playin in KC. He's not as good as the other two clips, but for ten years old he's good, and maybe Grohl isn't a bad guy as he......well I'll just let y'all watch to see how it ends.
