Thats why Tyson was as good as he was, deep down he was terrified everytime he entered the ring.

Great video.  Thanks for posting.

D'Amato was Tyson's mentor.  He was never the same after D'Amato died.

Ron Lyle, underappreciated -

.

.

Bob Foster, always fun to watch, such power -

.

Another good one -

.

Ken Buchanan vs Roberto Duran is another favorite -

.

I still watch the Tyson - Green fight. Rag all you want on Mitchell, but he was a tough guy -

.

Ron Lyle vs Foreman, George had his pride on the line.  Both nearly died but George came through.  Great great fight.  Gotta love George.

Some docs on the darker side of Boxing -

.

Welcome to the Sewer, a PBS look at the art of matchmaking in boxing. A young Shannon Briggs is in this.

.

After the Last Round. A look at what happens after  a fight career is over, and you're stuck with the injuries.

.

Don King Unauthorized, a look at Don King's life and Crimes, by one of his biggest enemies, Jack Newfield.

.

Assault In The Ring, a look at one of Boxing's most infamous glove tampering cases, and it's aftermath.

.

On the Ropes, another look at boxers just trying to make it in NY.

---------------------------------------

I don't have a link to the whole movie, but the Macho Camacho documentary on Showtime a couple of years ago was very good, watch it if you get the chance -

.

MACHO: The Hector Camacho Story.

Ron Lyle vs Ernie Shavers, or Lyle vs Forman...just throwing bombs... heavyweight boxing was nuts in 70s

Greatest era in boxing IMO.
Any FRI night or SAT afternoon on ABC Sports you could see an amazing fight.

Yes, the Pryor/Arguello fight was epic, with controversy. (Panama Lewis: "Not that bottle, the one I mixed.").
Of course the Billy Collins/Resto fight controversy as well. (Panama was a kvnt). (Casts under his gloves).

Cave man lee

As of a few years ago Caveman was a panhandler in Detroit. Working for pennies at a liquor store. I don't think he was actually employed there but hung out there hoping to collect enough change to buy a beer or a bottle of liquor.

I recognized him and started bullshiting with him about all the old school Kronk fighters. Caveman got a little emotional and called Manny Steward on the spot. Handed the phone to me. And Im talking to Manny. Manny tells me that he takes care of Caveman from time to time. And asks me if it looks like Caveman needs anything and what kind of mental condition he was in.  I said well hed probably like a nice dinner and a good bottle of liquor. Manny said 'OK. Ill stop by in a little bit.'

It was odd. Caveman was not only punch drunk but also actually drunk and for a few minutes i was his interpreter for Manny Steward.

Biggest robbery I’ve seen was Foreman’s last fight.

Shows how bad Briggs actually was to in honesty lose to a guy way past his prime.
