If you read the reports from coworkers on set he has a lot more problems than just Aphasia. Aphasia is the nice way to put it for the media the man has full scale dementia he doesn't know where he is or what is going on. He has apparently been that way for at least a decade with producers and coworkers complaining since at least 2011 but his handlers keep pushing him into shitty roles and guiding him around set and feeding him lines through an ear piece so he can continue to work and make them more money anyway.

TV, hit movies, music, awards, wife and well adjusted kids, friendly with the ex wife, bank!  No huge scandals/crimes/unethical conduct.  He had a very good run.  We should all be so lucky.  Rest in retirement.
