“A Maricopa County Superior Court judge ruled that Arizona Governor Katie Hobbs violated state law by appointing 'de facto directors' to lead state agencies without Senate consent. The judge sided with the Arizona Senate, which argued that Hobbs' actions were unconstitutional, stating that she willfully circumvented the statutory process and eliminated the legislative branch from its oversight role”

Seems like a lot of activity for something that was "debunked."    :D :D :D :D :D     Tell us more.

---
Two top aides to Donald Trump were scheduled to be arraigned in a Maricopa County court Friday morning to answer charges stemming from a plan to keep him in the White House by falsely certifying he won the state in 2020.

Mark Meadows, Trump's former chief of staff, and Michael "Mike" Roman, a member of Trump's campaign team, were expected to appear in court virtually and enter pleas to nine felony counts, including conspiracy, forgery and fraud.

Both were charged in a similar case in Georgia.

They are among the 18 people an Arizona grand jury indicted in April. The 58-page indictment alleges that 11 Arizona Republicans and seven top Trump aides came up with a plan to pretend Trump won the state. In reality, Arizona voters narrowly selected Joe Biden.

All the defendants face the same nine felony charges. If convicted, they could be sentenced to time in prison, but state law allows for less severe penalties, including probation, depending on their circumstances, like past criminal history.

^^^ After crying and whining about election fraud for 4 years, desperately trying to deflect from the topic actually being discussed and the people involved actually being charged.   :D :D :D :D

When I was ten years old, I went to YMCA camp in Big Bear, CA. Not having ever slept in a bunk bed, I chose one of the upper bunks. Sometime during the night, I rolled over and off the bunk falling on to the concrete floor. The term 'debunked' reminded me of this experience. Fortunately, I was not hurt in the fall... just a little embarrassed. :-[

Yes, I do read my posts. In this particular post to which you responded, I was making fun of the word 'debunked'. It was a metaphor. The prefix 'de' can mean separated. Separated - falling from a bunk bed = debunked. Gives new meaning to this overused word. ;)

Jenna Ellis flips.  Agrees to provide cooperation, evidence, and testimony against the other fake electors who are charged.

In return her nine felony charges go bye-bye.

I could have sworn we had someone on here running around claiming this whole thing had been “debunked”.     😂 😂 😂

So easy to dismiss it isn't it. Lying under oath is a felony. Could it be possible she has agreed to tell the truth for a change in exchange for getting the charges dropped? Are we at that point where ANY information that doesn't support the narrative is just dismissed? Fake news? It's not that there isn't a lot of evidence already to support the allegations.

Yeah, cause you fucking cops, DAs, prosecutors never make deals with criminals to flip on someone to get out of their charges. ::) Real easy to dismiss.

Because the defense would never ever try to fact check, poke holes in the testimony, try to get a perjury charge or mistrial from people who flip.   And prosecutors would put no effort in verifying everything they are told to prevent such a thing.  Why, that’s almost like saying that someone who flips is even under more scrutiny than they normally would be.

Common sense….. such a rare thing.

Yes prosecutors do make deals with people who are or will be charged with a crime, but what does that have to do with lying under oath being a felony?

Well, well, well....  what have we here?  A guilty plea.    But why would anyone plead guilty to something that was "DEBUNKED?"   :D :D :D :D :D

Arizona Republican becomes first fake elector to plead guilty for role in Trump scheme
https://www.google.com/search?client=firefox-b-1-d&q=Arizona+Republican+becomes+first+fake+elector+to+plead+guilty+for+role+in+Trump+scheme

An Arizona Republican who falsely claimed to be a legitimate presidential elector for former President Donald Trump — part of a sweeping effort by Trump and his allies to subvert the 2020 election — has pleaded guilty for her role in the scheme.

Lorraine Pellegrino, one of 11 Arizona Republicans who falsely posed as Trump’s electors that year, accepted a guilty plea to a single charge for filing a “false instrument” — the fraudulent Electoral College certificate. The state charge was one of several she faced for allegedly joining in a conspiracy to corrupt Arizona’s election results.

Arizona Attorney General Kris Mayes charged the 11 fake electors, as well as several top Trump allies, in a broad indictment in April. Trump himself was not charged in the Arizona case, but he was identified by a state grand jury as an unindicted coconspirator. Trump was also charged federally and in Georgia with felonies arising from his fake elector scheme and other efforts to overturn President Joe Biden’s victory.

Pellegrino’s plea deal is the second victory in the Arizona case in as many days for Mayes, a Democrat. Another one of the 18 defendants, former Trump campaign attorney Jenna Ellis, began cooperating with prosecutors this week in exchange for a deal to dismiss the charges she faced. Ellis similarly cooperated with prosecutors last year in the Georgia case.

Received : probation.

The first person to become indicted for election fraud in Arizona is, yep.... if you guessed a Republican, you win a prize.

Let me predict, no actual comments or responses from the MAGA crowd will follow this.   :D   Seems like "election interference" is their rallying cry but when real people get hit with real indictments/convictions for real crimes... everybody seems to tiptoe around it.

2020 - bogus lawsuits, fake electors, "perfect" phone calls, voting equipment tampered with/attempted to seize, defamation/slander/lies, attorneys losing their licenses, begging for the legit results of the election to be overturned, wanting ballots disqualified, etc..etc...etc....   :D

All by Republicans.  Seems the only election interference is being done by the ones crying the most about it.  As stated before every accusation is a confession.

GOOD THING THIS HAS ALL BEEN "DEBUNKED" RIGHT?   LOLOLOLOLOLOL

Republican activist becomes first person to be convicted in Arizona’s fake elector case

https://www.google.com/search?client=firefox-b-1-d&q=Republican+activist+becomes+first+person+to+be+convicted+in+Arizona%E2%80%99s+fake+elector+case

A Republican activist who signed a document falsely claiming Donald Trump had won Arizona in 2020 became the first person to be convicted in the state’s fake elector case.

Loraine Pellegrino, a past president of the group Ahwatukee Republican Women, has pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor charge of filing a false document, Arizona Attorney General’s Office spokesperson Richie Taylor said Tuesday, declining to comment further. Records documenting her guilty plea haven’t yet been posted by the court. Still, court records show Pellegrino was sentenced to unsupervised probation. Before the plea, she faced nine felony charges.

Seventeen other people had been charged in the case, including 10 other Republicans who had signed a certificate saying they were “duly elected and qualified” electors and claimed Trump had carried Arizona in the 2020 election. President Joe Biden won Arizona by 10,457 votes. Joshua Kolsrud, an attorney representing Pellegrino, said in a statement that his client has accepted responsibility for her actions. “Loraine Pellegrino’s decision to accept a plea to a lesser charge reflects her desire to move forward and put this matter behind her,” Kolsrud said.

On Monday, former Trump’s campaign attorney Jenna Ellis, who worked closely with his personal attorney, Rudy Giuliani, entered a cooperation agreement with prosecutors who have asked for her charges to be dismissed. The remaining defendants, including Giuliani and Trump presidential chief of staff Mark Meadows, have pleaded not guilty to conspiracy, fraud and forgery charges.

Pellegrino and 10 other people who had been nominated to be Arizona’s Republican electors had met in Phoenix on Dec. 14, 2020, to sign the false document. A one-minute video of the signing ceremony was posted on social media by the Arizona Republican Party at the time. The document was later sent to Congress and the National Archives, where it was ignored.

Prosecutors in Michigan, Nevada, Georgia and Wisconsin have also filed criminal charges related to the fake electors scheme.

Arizona authorities unveiled the felony charges in late April. Overall, charges were brought against 11 Republicans who submitted the document falsely declaring Trump had won Arizona, five lawyers connected to the former president and two former Trump aides.

Trump himself was not charged in the Arizona case but was referred to as an unindicted co-conspirator in the indictment.

The amazing part (or maybe not since you are a party above all guy) is that you don't find it odd at all that only repubs are being persecuted for this behavior, as if dems don't commit election fraud. If you had any common sense, you would see the bigger picture, but you are a brainwashed sheep that toes the party line like a good little lamb. :)

Show the proof.

All the Trumpturds cry about "stolen election" when that is EXACTLT what they were attempting to do.   Which is why they are the ones getting arrested.  But yeah....  I'll wait for the proof of Dems trying to steal the 2020 election.

Trial date set for 2026.

Why a trial if it has been “debunked”?   Looks like someone didn’t know what they were talking about.  As usual.

Here come the crickets for anything related to real election fraud and interference.  As usual.
