And just my 2c, but the young deputy's training clearly went out of the window once he got scent of her lack of underwear - pretty sure more experienced officers would have been worried by the bit highlighted below:


"What's going on?" the deputy asked the woman as she walked along the shoreline.

"I don't know," she replied.

"Were you just in a crash?" asked Dep. Colangelo.

The woman, dressed in a green tank top and dark shorts, began to walk the other direction when Dep. Colangelo told her to hold on.  The woman started sobbing and said, "I'm scared." She also had her hands behind her back.  The deputy asked her to walk up the stairs, which she did. Seconds later, the woman suddenly turned around and lunged at the deputy, stabbing him in the neck, the sheriff's office said.


I've watched enough Starsky and Hutch to know that cops in America always shout "PUT YOUR HANDS WHERE I CAN SEE 'EM!!"

Absolutely standard TV cop protocol.

Obviously, this guy wasn't trained right.

I think he was momentarily distracted by the idea* that she might be up for it at some point

*Not saying for one moment that he was actually considering breaking his oath and banging the skank - no - I'm just suggesting he may have been suffering from 'snatch blindness'  That micro-madness that takes over when a man (not me OFC) is imagining raw-dogging like a Pro just for a few seconds...  Happens to us all - erm - not me though...
