Do you guys pay attention to this at all ?
I never did but i think my few reckless years of gear use might be getting back at me, especially the tren.
I have no other symptoms tho, but i'll still have it checked out.
I'd like to hear Van_Bilderass on this.
(I don't eat much protein (150g a day max) and I take 1 cc of test per week year round.
Hey Stavios,
I'm not Van, but I'll take an educated stab at it.
Your foamy urine can be due to a multitude of things, but more concerning is the fact that it could be a sign of kidney disease.
Here's an article from the American Society of Nephrology discussing the nature of foamy urine and how it can be a sign of kidney disease:
https://cjasn.asnjournals.org/content/14/11/1664#:~:text=Historically%2C%20persistent%20foamy%20urine%20noticed,bowl%20(see%20Figure%201).Khitan, Z. J., & Glassock, R. J. (2019). Foamy urine. Clinical Journal of the American Society of Nephrology, 14(11), 1664–1666. Retrieved April 13, 2022, from
https://doi.org/10.2215/cjn.06840619Anyhow, the gist of it is that when patients see foamy urine, it is typically caused by proteinuria. Proteinuria is merely a fancy term for elevated protein in the urine. The reason the urine gets foamy is because proteins have a coating surrounding them, like a surfactant, and when it mixes with both urine and water it that reduces the surface tension and stands out as bubbles/foam.
The bigger issue is that your kidneys' glomerulus (part of the filtration system for your kidneys) should be retaining proteins as opposed to filtering them out. This could be a sign of kidney disease and this would be best evaluated by your local doctor.
To start, your PCP can order a Complete Metabolic Panel (CMP) + gather urine for a urinalysis and evaluate for:
- BUN
- Creatinine
- Urine Albumin
- Glomerular filtration rate
- Urine albumin-to-creatinine ratio
Also, if you need me to explain what any of those aforementioned labs test for, let me know and I'll gladly explain.
Anyhow, hope this helps. As always, I am an accountant, so don't take anything I write as medical advice.

P.S. Assuming you're a dirty slut, you could also have an Sexually Transmitted Disease. Trichomoniasis can cause frothy/foamy urine in both males and females. Good luck!
